Consultants: Career Path

Kaiser Associates offers unparalleled opportunities for professional growth and development to exceptional college and university graduates . Our reward system is entirely merit-based, meaning that consultants are promoted and rewarded based on the quality of their contribution, not on seniority. This philosophy allows Kaiser Associates to promote top-performing consultants quickly, and keep them continually challenged. We are a firm that allows and encourages you to demonstrate all your abilities and discover new ones.

Percent of Your Time Timeline

An Associate Consultant can expect an increasing amount of responsibility, client contact and Officer contact as s/he is promoted to Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant, Senior Manager, and Officer. Areas of responsibility typically expand to include:
Supervising the work of other consultants

      Managing entire projects

      Managing day-to-day client relationships

Participating in various firm leadership activities, such as consultant recruiting and consultant training

Supporting the business development efforts of Officers
The Associate Consultant position is not a fixed two-year program; rather, we see today's Associate Consultants as tomorrow's Officers. Consequently, there is no limit to how far you can go at Kaiser Associates. In fact, several of our most successful Officers started their careers as Associate Consultants.

For those consultants who wish to enroll in MBA or other graduate degree programs, Kaiser Associates has an excellent track record of acceptances by the top business schools, including Harvard, IMD, INSEAD, Kellogg, MIT/Sloan, Stanford, and Wharton. Our consultants have also been accepted into top law schools and highly-ranked advanced degree programs in a wide variety of disciplines. Opportunities for pursuing an MBA funded by Kaiser Associates exist for our more senior and most valued consultants.
